With deepest sorrow, we at Henryhand Funeral Home, regret to announce the passing of Mr. Ben Franklin Jr., 38, of Georgetown, SC, who passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories: four daughters, Brianna Smith, Diamond Franklin, Jai'den Franklin, and Maliyah Franklin all of Georgetown, SC; his father, Ben Franklin Sr.; four brothers, Wyman Franklin, Dumont (Shaunta) Franklin Sr., Melvin (Krystal) Moultrie, Dumont Franklin Jr. all of Georgetown, SC; four sisters, TyKeria Green of Baltimore, MD, Vanessa Franklin, Shaniqua (Terrance) Hayward-Davis and Cynthia (Donald) Cohen all of Georgetown, SC; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The Lord is my Shepard. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He leads me in the path of righteousness for his name sake.

Life has a single beginning, but a multiplicity of endings. We do not know the hour, nor the minute of the day, nor the way of our departure; nor do we know the mystery of the master who is too wise to make a mistake.

Ben Franklin, Jr. was born April 11, 1983 in Charleston, SC to Ben Franklin, Sr., and the late Lillian M. Franklin. God dispatched an angel on Monday night, August 23, 2021 to claim the soul of Ben Jr.

Ben affectionately known as "BooBee" and so many other names, received his education in the public schools of Georgetown County, Carver's Bay High School, Class of 2002. After graduating from high school, he attended courses at Horry Georgetown Technical College for Welding. He was gainfully employed through SCDOT and gained a Captain's License until an on the job accident.

Ben Jr. joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He was a loving and caring person who always had a smile on his face. Ben Jr. never met a stranger and could dig up a cousin from many generations. He loved to play the lottery faithfully. Most of all, HIS GIRLS WERE HIS WORLD!

Ben Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Franklin.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: three daughters, Diamond Imani Franklin (16), Jaiden Nevaeh Franklin (15) and Maliyah Lillia Franklin (9); one reared as a daughter, Brianna Nicole Smith (19); his father, Ben Franklin, Sr; four brothers, Wyman Franklin, Sr., Dumont (Shaunta) Franklin, Melvin (Krystal) Moultrie and Dumont Franklin, Jr. (DJ) all of Georgetown, SC; four sisters, Cynthia (Donald) Cohens, Vanessa Franklin, Tikara Green and Shaniquia Heyward-Davis (Terrance); one granduncle, Wilson Dozier; one grandaunt, Virginia Giles; his childhood friends, RTE 4Boys; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A special friend until death, Kiashia Green.

The family is receiving friends at his late residence, 607 Sutton Rd. Georgetown, SC.
