With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Vincent Barr, 63,  of Kingstree, SC,  who passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Remembering Vincent

I dedicate my trials Lord

My hindrances to thee

My limitations grieve me now,

But someday I shall see

The wisdom of the very thing

That seem to hurt me so

But now within your loving arms

Please let me glow and grow!

~ Love, Vincent

Vincent Lawrence Barr was born on April 25, 1962 in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late James D. Barr and Joyce L. Barr. He departed his earthly life on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Vincent attended the public schools of Williamsburg County.

Vincent was a master of many trades and it seemed as if there wasn't anything that he couldn't do. He was employed at Warranty Auto Sales and had a special bond with his boss.

Vincent was the life of the party and he loved to dance. He especially enjoyed dancing with his cousin/best friend, Pender. He danced just like his mom, Joyce, because she could "cut a rug."

He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him especially  the Rose Hill Community and his track family on Thorne Avenue.

Those left to cherish his memories are one daughter, Shakeena (Jeremiah) Wallace of Sumter, SC; one grandson, Amar'e Davis; two aunts, Nancy Barr Scott and Carolyn McClary; his boss who was like a brother, Keem Brown; best friends, Lee Henryhand and  Leonard "Gainey" Bryant; along with a host of other relatives and many, many friends.

The family is receiving friends and family at 64 Covenant Lane, Kingstree, SC.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Kingstree, SC. 843-354-2292 .
