With deepest sorrow, we at Henryhand Funeral Home, regret to announce the passing of Ulanda Denise Green, 55, of Darlington, SC, formerly of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Life Reflections

Sis. Ulanda Denise Green was born in Williamsburg County, South Carolina on September 29, 1970, a daughter of the late Felmar Green and Hanney Wilson. Wanda, as she was affectionately called departed this life on December 15, 2025 at 7:26 P.M. at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

"Wanda" graduated from Kingstree High School. She matriculated to Benedict College, receiving her Bachelors Degree in Marketing with the class of 1992. Wanda furthered her education, attending Walden University, and received her MBA. She then attended Life Fellowship Bible College where she received her Associate Degree in Bible Studies. Wanda was a candidate for her Bachelors in Theology when her health faltered.

"Wanda" was formerly employed with Williamsburg County from 1993 to 2016 until her retirement. She also worked with Darlington County and Circle K. At an early age, she joined Bethlehem Baptist Church in Salters, SC. She later joined Antioch Fellowship Church where she served as administrator. She also served on the Praise Team, a leader of the Communications Ministry, as a content creator, and many other capacities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Moses and Ethel Green.

Left to share her legacy of love and cherish precious memories: her son, Xavier Murray of Darlington, SC; two sisters, Stacy Wilson of Florence, SC and Kaisha Nesmith of Aberdeen, MD; eight aunts, Sarah Pearson of Fort Pierce, FL, Edith Green of New Zion, SC, Mozell (Angel) Amaker of Meriden, CT, Shirley (Jimmy) Allen of New Haven, CT, Angela Wilson of Kingstree, SC, Annie Ruth Staggers of Kingstree, SC, Elise Glick of Kingstree, SC, Victoria (Dennis) Carraway of Salters, SC; six uncles, Robert Staggers of New Haven, CT, James (Ronda) Green of Waterbury, CT, Amos (Willamae) Green of Kingstree, SC and Kenneth (Elsie) Green of Kingstree, SC, David Green of Kingstree, SC, Abraham Green of Kingstree, SC; along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
