Life Reflections of
Terry "Goose" Williams
Terry Williams of Huger, South Carolina, was a loving son, devoted father, caring brother, proud grandfather, and loyal friend to many. Born and raised in Huger, South Carolina, Terry built his life around faith, family, laughter, and community. He entered eternal rest leaving behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Terry received his education through the Berkeley County School District. Throughout his life, he was known for his charismatic personality, joyful spirit, and ability to bring laughter wherever he went. No matter the circumstance, Terry could light up a room with his smile, humor, and unforgettable presence. Being around him meant sharing stories, laughter, and moments that would become lifelong memories.
Terry loved his family deeply, treasured time spent with his loved ones and took pride in maintaining strong family bonds. He also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Whether through encouragement, support, conversation, or simply showing up when needed, Terry made sure those around him knew they were loved. His family meant everything to him, and the memories he created with them will continue to live on for generations.
Terry leaves to cherish his loving memory: his children, Patrick Tate of Dallas, TX, Karrisha Williams of Queens, NY, Kelsey Terry Williams of Moncks Corner, SC, Keshaun White, Shakyra White, and Tyler White of Johns Island, SC. He also shared a special bond with: his bonus daughter, Janel Jett; his special friend, Princestella Brown; his special aunt, Kathleen Williams. He additionally leaves behind: his cherished grandchildren; along with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
He was preceded in death by: his beloved parents, Deacon Mack Williams, Sr. and Sarah Williams. He also leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved siblings, Gregory (Virginia) Williams, Steven (Tonya) Williams of Huger, SC, Mack Jr. (Shawyna) Williams of Wando, SC, Prophet Markus (Jammie) Williams of Hanahan, SC, Vernen (Tyesha) Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Latarsha (Earl) Horlback of Moncks Corner, SC, all of whom shared a close and meaningful bond with Terry throughout his life.
Terry was also known for his kind heart and genuine nature. He had a unique way of making everyone feel welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated. His honesty, loyalty, and warm spirit naturally drew people to him, and his friendships were built on love, laughter, and authenticity.
To know Terry was to know joy. He was famously known for his signature phrase, "YeeHoo!" The moment those words rang out, everyone knew Terry was nearby. That phrase became a reflection of who he was — energetic, full of life, and always bringing happiness to others. Another saying he often shared was, "We're gonna make it from EBT to BET," a phrase that carried both humor and hope, reflecting his belief in overcoming struggles and striving for better days ahead.
Though Terry "Goose" Williams is no longer with us physically, his spirit will continue to live on through every laugh shared, every story remembered, and every life he touched. His legacy of love, strength, humor, resilience, and togetherness will forever remain with his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
