Life Reflections
Terry Levone McClary, 51, of Andrews, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
Terry was the oldest beloved son of Oscar and Pearlie McClary. He grew up in Trio, South Carolina. He attended C.E. Murray High School, Greeleyville, South Carolina, class of 1992. After graduation Terry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. His service in the Navy was an important chapter of his life and reflected his strength, dedication, and commitment. He was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, Trio Community, Andrews, South Carolina.
Terry was a hardworking young man who took pride in providing for his family. He worked for Overhead Door Company of 5 years, where he installed garage doors and built a reputation through his dedication and skilled work. He also spent several years working in brick masonry, putting his strength, craftsmanship and hands to work. Terry was not afraid of hard work, and his determination and work ethic were qualities that those who knew him will always remember.
Terry found joy in the simple things in life especially fishing. Whether sitting quietly by the water or enjoying the peacefulness of being outdoors, fishing gave Terry moments he could truly enjoy. Those who knew him will remember not only the things he did, but the person he was, the memories that he created, the moments he shared, and the love he gave to those around him.
Terry married the love of his life, high school sweetheart Rachon on February 14th, 1999. Together, they shared many years filled with love, laughter, memories and adventures that became a meaningful part of their memories.
Terry will be remembered for his warm genuine smile. His smile could brighten a room and his presence had a way of making people feel welcomed and loved. Terry had a way of creating memories that will stay with his family and friends for years to come.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. E.L. McClary and Leroy and Inez Chandler.

They shared a connection that began when they were young and continued throughout our lives; his children, Tedrick McClary and Rashad McClary both of Wilmington, NC and Na'Terria McClary of Rockville, MD. His life and memories will remain in the hearts of his three children; three grandchildren, Aubrie McClary of Wilmington, NC, Tylan McClary of Charlotte, NC and Emiliani McClary of Philadelphia, PA.
