With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Steven "Stevie" Conyers, 61, of Washington, DC, formerly of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Life Reflections

Steven Conyers, son of late Eli Conyers Sr. and Mary Conyers was born on March 9, 1964, in Hollywood, FL, and he grew up in Kingstree, SC. On August 3, 2025, the Lord called him home. It is comfort in knowing that Steven is now at peace and reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.

He attended Kingstree Sr. High School and moved to Washington, DC for the majority of his life.  He also did construction type of work. He was a joy to everyone he came in contact with and loved his brother more than anything.

Steven leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Eli Conyers, Jr. (Pamela) of White Plains, MD; five nieces and nephews, Jemel Blakely (Jasmine), Kayla West-Hawkins (Ronald), Alexis Conyers, Saeviah Conyers, and Amber Conyers; eight great nieces and nephews, Kiran Blakely, Janai Blakely, Jeremy Blakely, Jaxson Blakely, Musiq Dai West-White, Atarah Tamba, U'ri-West-Hawkins, Chance Williams; three aunts, Marie Thompson of Ormond Beach, FL, Jannie Conyers of Kingstree, SC, and Rachel Welch of Columbia, SC; two uncles, James Nathaniel Thompson of Conway, SC and Levern Thompson of Atlanta, GA; a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
