Obituary

With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Steven Cleveland, 50, husband of Natavia Anderson Cleveland, who passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Remembering Steven

Steven Cleveland, born June 27, 1975, in Charleston, South Carolina, at Medical University, a proud son of Deloris C. Appleby and the late Wilson Paige. Steven carried the spirit of the Rams from his Saint Stephen High School days, where he found passion on the football field. Although he gained his heavenly wings on December 26, 2025, his legacy of strength and dedication lives on. Let his journey remind us to "Cherish Every Moment of Life".

Steven's passion for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched, but what truly defined him was his heart. As a dedicated carpenter working alongside his oldest brother at Top Notch Construction, he wasn't just building houses—he was rebuilding lives. His commitment to creating strong foundations, both in homes and in his community, reminds us that true strength comes from compassion and hard work. Keep pushing forward, just like Steven did, and remember that every small act of dedication can create something incredible.

He was such a handy man in the community, always ready to fix things and help out. But what we loved most was his playful spirit—he enjoyed having a good time and always had a joke up his sleeve. Like the times he'd ask how many post offices there were in Pineville, right before shaking up a Sprite and proudly calling it a Dr. Pepper. Moments like that truly showed his unique charm and how much he brought joy to everyone around him.

We ask that you keep the love Steven spread, the joy he brought, and the beautiful memories he made with you close to your hearts. His remembrance will live on forever in our loving spirits. Steven has been called home, and though his time with us has ended, his new assignment in paradise is just beginning. As we celebrate his life, let's cherish this sweet moment together, gaining another angel in our lives.

Steven leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Natavia Anderson, his incredible mother, Deloris C Appleby and his amazing kids, Destiny and Steven Davon Cleveland. Let's not forget his three beautiful grandkids, Iihdol, Ihrynn, and Ihrysh from Pineville, SC. Steven was also blessed with a big supportive family, including his siblings, Elton Cleveland of Pineville, SC and his girlfriend, Myra Sheppard, Tracy (Darrell) Darnell, April (Anthony) Crumpley and Willitte Paige Brown, all of Moncks Corner, SC, William and Wilson Paige Jr, both of Bonneau, SC, Jeanette Paige Brown and  Delaine Paige Wilford, both of Alvin, SC,  Bridgette Paige Benekin of Goose Creek, SC, and Monisa (Torano ) Waters of Washington, DC; special friends, Karen, Gail, and Jeff; along with a host of  nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly.

It's clear Steven touched so many lives and his memory will always bring us joy. Let's keep celebrating the love and happiness he shared with all of us!
