Life Reflections

Sherron Giles (Sonny), formally known to everyone, was born on May 1, 1981, in Charleston South Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday, June 15, 2024, after battling a lengthy illness. He remained high spirited throughout his illness, always having a smile on his face and when asked how he was feeling he would always say, "Oh I feel alright," never admitting his pain.

Sherron graduated from Timberland High School in St. Stephen South Carolina. After graduating high school he planned to join the Army, until his great grandmother became ill. Being the caring person he was, he decided to put his career aside and remain at home to care for her until her death in the year of 2000. Sherron had a beautiful personality and had a love for everyone especially for the elderly. He had an old spirit, loving and caring for people.

Sherron leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Sherron Giles of NC, whom he loved and cared for deeply; his mother Wilma (Rev. Dr. Vincent Gillard); two brothers, Ricardo and Detron both of Summerville SC; one sister, Tawanna of Charleston, SC; a loving grandmother, Emma Giles; one close friend, Gregory; along with a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family is receiving friends and family at 216 Old Town Circle, St. Stephen, SC.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of St. Stephen, SC. 843-354-2292.
