Obituary

Sadie Ruth Lesesne was born November 3, 1952 to the late Willie James Lesaine and Mary Lee Kennedy in Greeleyville, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by: her one brother, Willie Lesaine; one sister, Christine Lesaine and one son, Jonathan Bruce Lesaine.

She attended Williamsburg County Training School in Greeleyville, SC. At an early ag, she joined Pine Grove A.M.E. Church where she participated in Sunday School. She shared a special bond with her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Sabb, "Rooster", as she was affectionately known, enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Said Ruth Lesesne was called to eternal rest at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Those left to cherish her memories are: her children, Tyrone Lesaine of Greeleyville, SC, Anthony (Jackie) Lesaine of Linden, NJ, M
