Life Reflections

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" (II Tim. 4:7)

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Mrs. Rebecca Pringle-Williams went home to be with the Lord from labor to reward.

Reva, as she was affectionately called, was one of seven children, born on August 20, 1944 to Mr. Ezekiel and Mrs. Mary M. Pringle.

She diligently worked at Georgetown Steel Mill until she retired. She was appreciated for her hard work and was consistently acknowledged by the company. Rebecca was active in her community as well as in the Church. She served as a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church Missionary Society. Even when her health did not allow, she personally went out into the community to be a blessing to those in need, including helping her leader, whom she loved, Deacon Carey Smith, when he was ill. Rebecca was a bright light, a beacon to those in the Church and those who were not. She truly was an example of the believer. Rebecca lived a life that reflected love. Rebecca was connected to "For the Perfecting of the Saints Ministry" through a group of prayer warriors under Dr. Godfrey's stewardship, whose members are located in the Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, West Indies, Ghana, Kentucky, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, New York and Delaware. They lovingly call her "My Reva" because she was so faithful. Reva never complained. She never missed a prayer watch. She never missed a fast. The pastors, teachers, ministers, and other believers never stopped praying for her. She never stopped praying for them. Reva drew strength from the Lord. Others drew strength and encouragement from her. She was known as "The Trooper."

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Williams.

Rebecca leaves to cherish fond memories: three sons, Eric Williams, Anthony Williams and Cornel Williams; a daughter, Leslie Williams Wilson; one sister, Dr. Wilhelmena Pringle-Godfrey; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; two daughters-in-love, Cynthia and Saireena; and one son-in-love, Teddy Wilson.

The family is receiving friends and family at 224 Abbieville Road, Georgetown, SC.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Andrews, SC. 843-354-2292.
