Obituary

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Raven Magdalene Rhodes, was born on November 23, 2004 in Williamsburg County, Kingstree, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2025.

Raven attended the public schools of Williamsburg Couty. In the year of 2022, she graduated from Howard Optional Education in Georgetown, SC with her High School GED. She then attended Lowe Country Training Academy, where she received her CNA Certificate, then furthered her education at Williamsburg Technical College pursuing her Nursing Degree.

Raven was a very energetic and funny person who loved to dance. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was well known for her afro puffs and smile, but most of all the moments she shared with her daughter were the most precious.

Raven was preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents, Magdalean Burroughs and Norman Snow.

Raven leaves to cherish her precious memories: one daughter, Ra'Arii Lani Rhodes of the home; her mother, Vernessa Rhodes of Andrews, SC; her father, Raymond Burroughs of Nesmith, SC; three sisters, Shaquandra Dorsey of Kingstree, SC, Infiniti Henderson of Columbia, SC and Tyasia Burroughs of Lake City, SC; two brothers, Ramon Dorsey of Andrews, SC and Malik Samuel of Keansburg, NJ; maternal grandparents, Gernell Johnson of Andrews, SC and Linson Rhodes of Stratford, CT; three special cousins, Janiah Rhodes of Charlotte, NC, Avani Zimmerman of Andrews, SC and Sarah Davis of Andrews, SC; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Family is receiving friends and family at her late residence, 1780 Big Bay Road, Andrews, SC.
