Life Reflections

Quantrell Mahlon Wilson was born in Georgetown County, South Carolina at Georgetown Memorial Hospital on April 22, 1977, to the late Willie Thomas Wilson and the late Evelyn V. Wilson. He departed this life on Sunday, April 6, 2025, to rest in the peaceful arms of the Lord.

Quantrell grew up in Bloomingvale Community of Andrews, South Carolina, where he attended, along with his mother, Asbury United Methodist Church. He was educated at St. Mark Elementary and graduated from Kingstree High School. As a young child he enjoyed reading and writing poetry, which led to his love and passion for music.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie T. and Evelyn V. Wilson; maternal grandmother, Betty Vereen Pressley; uncle and aunt, Clarence and Dr. Margaret Vereen; and special cousin, Marcus Vereen.

He is survived by: his loving brother, Andre and Lavissa Wilson; his nephew, Anthony Young; aunts, Mary Dozier, Betty Stokes,  and Cymetria Vereen; special cousins that are like aunts and uncles, Archie and Rosa Lee McCullough, Author White and Eva Julious; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
