Parri Lee Walker Pendergrass was born to the late Thomas and Henrietta Walker on March 22, 1939 in Hallandale, Florida. Parri departed this life when God called her home on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

She attended the public schools of Hallandale, Florida. Parri was employed as a housekeeper and a cook on her various jobs.

Parri was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas and Henrietta Walker; her husband, Arthur Pendergrass and a daughter, Ella Sue Pendergrass.

Parri Lee Walker was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Elder Arthur Pendergrass in August of 1977. She decided to relocate to South Carolina in 1979. Parri love and passions were cooking, growing her flowers in her yard, and being with her friends. She attended Deep River Pentecostal Church in Lake City, SC.

Parri Lee leaves to cherish her precious memories: her two daughters of the home, Jeannie Lee Davis and Iris Ann Pendergrass; her two sons, James Harris Pendergrass of Greenwood, SC and Lawrence Pendergrass of Kingstree, SC; two stepdaughters, Betty Jean Pendergrass of Tallahassee, FL and Cassandra (William) Robinson of Fort Pierce, FL; two sisters-in-law, Emma Adams of Philadelphia, PA and Alice Pendergrass of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Ty'Lawreconya Simon and Da'Monjaz Simon both of Sumter, SC and Laurentia Mouzon of Charleston, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
