Life Reflections

"There is a place of a great rest near to the heart of God"

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, Ophelia C. Snow Robinson entered this peaceful place and now behold the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Ophelia was born April 1, 1951 in Georgetown, South Carolina to the marital union of Phyllis and Roosevelt Snow. Her parents; brother, Ronald Wayne Snow; sister, Paula Snow; nephew, Gary Holmes; father-in-law, Willie Robinson; mother-in-law, Hester Robinson; brothers-in-law, Joseph Robinson and Willie James Robinson; sisters-in-law, Rosabelle Robinson and Mary Hester Robinson preceded her in death.

Her secular education was received in the public schools of Georgetown County. The foundation of her religious training was New Light Missionary Baptist Church where she was baptized early in life and later joined Friendship St. Mary A.M.E. Church, Reverend Ronald McInnis is Pastor.

Her marriage to Joecephus Robinson was blessed with two children, Mia S.R. Harris and Corey J. Robinson who were dearly loved.

Ophelia was a soft spoken person, a lover of life.  Ophelia knew that her primary goal was to honor and obey God, provide for her family and those in need. She was passionate about her husband, children and grandchildren. She took great pleasure in caring for them.

Among many who are left to cherish her fond memories are: her devoted husband, Joecephus Robinson; her loving children, Mia S. Robinson Harris of Alexandria, VA and Corey J.
