With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Monica Marie Scott, 32, of Greer, SC, formerly of Manning, SC,  who passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Life Reflections

Monica Scott, was born October 1, 1991 in Bronx, New York to Lilly Scott who preceded her in death.

Monica attended the public schools in New York and graduated from the Phoenix Center in Alcolu, South Carolina. After graduating, she moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where she earned her certification as a Nursing Assistant. She was employed in the field as a CNA at Prisma Health Memorial Hospital.

Monica was a loving spirit, who everyone loved and enjoyed.

She was always a selfless and honest person. Monica always kept a smile on her face. She was also the life of the party and touched lives, wherever she went.

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, God called Monica Scott to rest from her labors at Lexington Community Hospice House in Lexington, SC.

Monica leaves to cherish her memories: one sister, Christiana Scott of Greer, SC; two brothers, Shakeith Scott of Greer, SC and Terrell Scott of Greensboro, NC; three aunts, Gloria Edwards of Columbia, SC, Denise Scott-Frierson (Henry) of Manning, SC and Renita Scott of Bronx, NY; one uncle, Donald Scott (Latoya) of Columbia, SC; a host of additional relatives and friends.
