Life Reflections

Minister Ronda Samuel Blackwell, affectionately called, "Tweetie", was born June 12, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William Thompson and Alice Williams. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools System.

Early in her life she received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Minister Ronda Samuel Blackwell married Jimmy James Fulmore and from that union Edward E. Fulmore was born in 1980. Minister Ronda later moved to SC where she married Tyrone William Blackwell Sr. and from that union Tyrone William Blackwell Jr. was born in 1992. During her early career years, Ronda worked in the Home Healthcare Industry. For many years she had a passion for cooking which she acquired from her mom. Upon moving to South Carolina she worked in the food service industry. In addition, she worked for several hospitality companies. In everything she did, she did them all with love and dedication to whatever task that was laid before her. Her joy was her children and her grandchildren, but she received pure joy and satisfaction from preaching God's word.  When she spoke of her God she lit up like a Christmas tree. Ronda's faith and devotion to God meant everything. Her faith, trust, and belief in God was her life.

Minister Ronda was preceded in death by: her parents, William Thompson and Alice Williams; both of her late husbands, Jimmy James Fulmore and Tyrone William Blackwell Sr.

Minister Ronda leaves to cherish her loving memories; her two sons, Dr. Edward (Danielle) Fulmore and Tyrone (Liasha) Blackwell; six grandchildren,  Elisha Fulmore, Martin Garret, Konner Blackwell, Mackenzie McCray and Damari McCray all of South Carolina and Anthony Moyd of Daytona, Florida; her loving siblings, Mrs. Janet (Kenneth) Lane, Pastor Andre (Gwendolyn) Samuel, Mr. Kevin (Arlene) Samuel, Mr. Darryl (Kimberly) Tisdale, Mrs. Paydena (Jerrod) Blake, Ms. Nitcha Blackwell, Mr. Percy Blackwell all of Andrews, SC and Ms. Pearline Blackwell of North Carolina; along with a hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends and family at 508 MLK Jr. Drive, Andrews, SC.
