Life Reflections

McArthur Prior affectionately known as "Mack" fell asleep in death from this life peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Mullins Nursing Center in Mullins, SC. He was born on January 26, 1951 to the late Joe and Annie Pryor of Andrews, South Carolina.

Early in life "Mack" became an avid health enthusiast, running five to eight miles per day. However, due to a life changing accident, he became partially disabled and needed assistance with daily living. He faced this challenge with grace, strength, and character. "Mack was a kind and generous man whose priority was always his family.

"Mack" was preceded in death by: his daughter, Rose Maria Smith; seven siblings, Sam Pryor, Eva Mae White, Juliana Elrod, Allen Pryor, Minnie Brunson, Josephine Pryor, and Paul Smith.

McArthur leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Damien K. Washington of Atlanta, GA; one granddaughter, Ajalia Smith of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Janie Prior of Williamsburg, VA, Debbie Vernon of Oceda, SC, and Alberta Gary of Andrews, SC; along with a host of family and friends.
