With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Margaret "Rose" Goss, 73, widow of Willie Goss, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Margaret Singletary Goss, affectionally called "Rose" was born on February 13, 1952 in Salters, South Carolina. She departed her earthly life on January 30, 2026 in Florence, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Frank Singletary and Mamie McFadden Singletary.

Margaret attended the public schools of Florence County and was a graduate of Lake City High School, Class of 1970.

Margaret accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was a member of Evangelistic Temple Way of the Cross Church of Christ under the leadership of Bishop Roosevelt Fulton and First Lady Maggie Fulton. She was a member of the Usher Board where she served faithfully. She also enjoyed going to gospel concerts where the McClary Gospel Singers were her favorite group. Margaret was known for her laughter, having a good time with friends and family, and bringing joy to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Willie Goss; three brothers, Timothy, James, and Frank Jr.; one sister, Bertha Lee and her best friend, Brenda Nelson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister, Elder Frankie Mae Hardman; six nephews; seven nieces; four great nephews; ten great nieces; three great-great nephews; two great-great nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.
