Life Reflections
Linda Walker Capers was born on February 5, 1961, to the late Lue Frances and Jefferson Walker. Linda was the seventh sibling and oldest girl out of 12 children. Linda had roots in New York and South Carolina, but South Carolina is where her adolescent and adult years were spent.
Linda received her formal education in Nassau County, NY and Sumter, SC. She graduated from Maywood High School in May 1980. She received several certificates from Florence Darlington Technical College. Linda worked as a Cafeteria Manager for Florence County School District Three and as an Office Manager for Capers Painting and Repair Services. In 1978, she met the love of her life, John Wesley Capers. The two were joined in Holy Matrimony on September 27, 1980. John (J.W) Capers was blessed with a son before their union, Andre Cobia. Linda and John's union created three children, John Marquise (Deanne) Capers, Celista Lue Frances (Lorenzo) McKenzie, and Quanesha Linette (Dongrail) Burgess.
Linda's love for Jehovah God and her family was unmatched. She was preceded in death by: her mother, (Lue Frances Walker); father, (Jefferson Walker); 2 brothers, Russell Walker and Swail Walker; 1 sister, Barbara Smith and 1 grandson, (Dongrail Jr. Burgess).
