Kingstree
With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Leonard Hunter, 68, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Life Reflections
Leonard Hunter, also known as "Nard" or "Hunter", 68, was born Tuesday, September 3, 1957 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, to the late Lindburg Sr. and Lillie Mae Hunter. On Sunday, December 21, 2025, Nard transitioned from earth to be with the Lord. To receive his rest for the hard work and dedication during his time here with us. Leonard was preceded in death by: his parents, Lindburg Sr. and Lillie Mae Hunter; alongside his brothers, Elijah Sr, Lindberg Jr. and Reverend Keith Hunter.
Leonard was a Rams Fan who enjoyed football, working, family, telling jokes, sitting on the porch with his legs crossed and a good time! One word to best describe Nard would be consistent! You were one of the closest to his heart if you received a "Good Morning, love you text" every morning. He would call or make contact on holidays even if it wasn't for long.
He was employed with Williamsburg Packing Co. for 40 years. Where he loved what he did and was on time daily. He had love for everyone he came into path with and made sure that you knew that! His smile and hehe as he laughed will forever be remembered. Leonard loved his family especially his grandchildren dearly, Charmaine, Khalis, Lailia, Bryce, & Cindrea.
Leonard's bloodline, cherished memories and legacies will live on through: his life long love, Cynthia Robinson of Kingstree SC; kids, Kevin (Renee) Robinson of Kingstree, SC, whom he reared and loved as his own, Kendra Robinson of Kingstree, SC and Tyra (Da'Quan) Pannell of Lake City, SC; five grandchildren; two siblings, Curtis Hunter and Edna (Olin) Chandler both of Kingstree, SC; sister-in-law, Yolanda Bowman Hunter of Columbia, SC; one aunt, Hazel Austin of Charleston, SC; seven nieces; seven nephews; eleven greatnieces; seven greatnephews; as well as cousins.
The family will receive friends at 966 Anderson Street, Kingstree, SC from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm daily.
All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Kingstree, SC. 843-354-2292.
