With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Leon Giles, Sr., 77, of Kingstree, SC, husband of Patricia Giles, who passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at his residence.

Life Reflections Of Leon Giles, Sr.

The Patriarch, Leon Giles, Sr., was born in Charleston, South Carolina on December 10, 1945, to the late Mr. Charlie Giles, Sr. And Mary Alice Brockington Giles.

Leon was a member of Old Mt. Zion A. M. E. Church.

Leon was a hardworking, respected and dedicated family man who had many trades and hobbies; such as an electrician, a plumber,  a fisherman, a hunter , a farmer and a part-time comedian. He especially loved to "spoil" his eleven grandchildren and four great grand-children.

One loving brother, James Giles, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories of the years spent with him:  his loving and devoted wife, Patricia Giles; two sons, Leon (Sabrina) Giles, Jr. and Christopher Giles (Lorraine Wallace) both of Kingstree, SC; two daughters, Shondreika (Calvin) McClary of Greeleyville, SC and Audrey (William) Giles-Lucas of Connecticut; his eleven grandchildren, Shanequia Giles, Stephon Giles, Calvin McClary, Jr. Daija Lucas, Chyna Giles,  Deon Giles, Marquice Lucas, Akhyiah Giles, Sayvion McClary, Kamelia Giles and Christian Giles; four great grandchildren, Kingston Pressley, Wynter Pressley, Michaela Giles and Ky'son Tisdale; five brothers, Charlie Giles, Sr. of New York, Edward (Barbara) Giles, Levern Giles, Leroy (Barbara L.) Giles, Johnny M. (Stiney) Gardner all of Kingstree, SC; one sister, Carolyn Lemmon of Kingstree, SC; two sisters-in-law, Robin Tirado of Columbia, SC and Vergijee McClary of New York; three brothers-in-law; Dimitrus Tirado, Antonio (Debra) Tirado both of Columbia, SC and Steve Tirado of Kingstree, SC; one aunt, Magaline Brockington; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends..

The family is receiving friends and family at his late residence, 953 Red Road, Kingstree, SC.
