Obituary

With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Laterra Bertrella Graham affectionally called "Terry", 58, husband of Ruby Graham of Lake City, SC, who passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Life Reflections

I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. - II Timothy 4:7-8

Mr. Laterra "Terry" Bertrella Graham was born on March 31, 1968, in Florence County, South Carolina, to Mrs. Sally Sharon Graham and the late Mr. Winston Graham. He peacefully departed this life on July 3, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by: his brother, Ja'Wae Hason Graham and his brothers-in-law, Keith "Al" Burroughs and Heyward "Jr." Burroughs.

Terry was educated in the public schools of Florence County and graduated from Lake City High School with the Class of 1987. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at Mega Omega International Holiness Church, where he faithfully served as a Trustee.

Terry was united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Ruby Lee Burroughs Graham, and together they shared 34 years of marriage. Their union was blessed with two daughters and three grandsons, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.

Throughout his career, Terry was employed by Coleman Company, Dunline Rubber, and Nan Ya Plastics, where he worked faithfully until his health declined.

In his spare time, Terry enjoyed working on cars, racing cars, cutting jokes, and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandsons. His all-time favorite car was his bright yellow Oldsmobile Cutlass, affectionately known as "Nelly". Whether under the hood of a car or surrounded by those he loved most, Terry found joy creating memories that will live on for generations.

Those left to cherish his memories: his devoted wife of 34 years, Asst. Pastor Ruby Lee Graham of the home; three daughters, Tameika (Donald) Woodberry of Blythewood, SC, Brianna Graham of Columbia, SC, and LeeAnna Green of Charleston, SC; his loving mother, Sally Sharon Graham of Scranton, SC; his beloved mother-in-law, Lila Ruth Burroughs of Scranton, SC; one sister, Sharma (James) Kuria of Minnesota; five brothers, Stacey (Debra) Cockfield, Dominique "Donnie" Graham, Picasso Graham, MySharon Graham, and Frankie Robertson all of Scranton and Lake City, SC; one brother-in-law, Deacon Kenneth (Lillie) Burroughs of Scranton, SC; four sisters-in-law, Pearl (Moultrie) Montgomery of Columbus, GA, Rutha Burroughs and Marsha Burroughs, both of Scranton, SC and Melissa (Thro) Fowler of Irmo, SC; three cherished grandsons, Jaden Brice Currington, Jace Braxton Currington, and Briggs Jamir Currington of Columbia, SC whom he loved beyond measure.

He also leaves to mourn his passing: a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

Though Terry's earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy of faith, resilience, hard word, and unconditional love will continue to live on through the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family is receiving friends and family at 229 Laron Street, Scranton, South Carolina.
