Obituary

With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Keith Rush, 58, of Andrews, SC, who passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Life Reflections

Keith Anthony Rush was born on February 28, 1966 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina to the late Pastor Minnie Bell Rush Davis and Vander Bill Davis reared as his own. On Friday, September 6, 2024, God held his hands and His will was done. Keith was affectionately known as "Coon Rush."

He attended St. Mark Elementary/High School and graduated from Summerville High School.

While living in Florida, Keith often attended Wings of Deliverance and UICI Services, where his uncle and aunt, Apostle Leonard and Evangelist Deanna Smith pastored. He always supported his nephews' football games. He often coached from the bleachers. Keith was fond of Salandra, the one that always shared and preached the gospel to him with no exceptions. He also helped canvass for votes and took part in the Amendment Four Legislation being passed. This history making legislation helped over four million felons  have the right to vote in the state of Florida. He supported other Civic Engagements events to make a change  for a better society.

He loved playing basketball, football, detailing automobiles and cooking. While living here in South Carolina, he attended services at Fresh Oil Apostolic Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Henry Jackson and he also attended St. John A. M. E. Church, under the leadership of Reverend Louis Dorsey.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pastor Minnie Bell Rush Davis; his stepfather, Vander Bill Davis; and his brother, Larry James.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his children, Fayton (Kristin) Washington of Laurel, MD, Christopher (Toni) Singleton, Sr. of Charlotte, NC, Ebylin Hanna and Elijah Hanna of Port Orange, FL; his siblings, Kevin (Tamekia) Davis of Atlanta, GA, Tiffany Davis of Andrews, SC, Priscilla Armstrong of Georgetown, SC; Curtis Trappier, Torrence (Darlene) Trappier, Anthony Trappier, Moody Davis, Jr., Dewayne Davis, Gregory Davis, Tracey M. Middleton and Sharode Davis; father, Moody F. Davis of Georgetown, SC; grandchildren, Khloe Washington and Mikel Washington both of Laurel, MD, Christopher Singleton, Jr. and Joshua Singleton both of Charlotte, NC; aunts, Nettie White of Georgetown, SC and Ella Davis of Rochester, NY; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive family and friends at 3701 County Line Road, Apt. 24, Andrews, SC.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Kingstree, SC. 843-354-2292 .
