Celebrating the Life of Keith Jerome McClary

Keith Jerome McClary, Sr., age 61, was born on May 1, 1964 to the late Harry Dukes and Shirley Fulton McClary. He transitioned on February 3, 2026, at his home, after a brief illness.

Keith attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. He was employed at Longstreet Auto Sales in Kingstree until its closing. He was most recently employed by Auddie Brown Auto Sales as a car detailer. He also worked at Carolina Turf Farms in Greeleyville.

Keith joined St. Paul United Methodist Church at an early age.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Marion McClary, Sr; stepmother, Beulah Tisdale; a brother, Jerome Dukes; three sisters, Cynthia Dukes, Janet McClary, and Linda McClary.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his life-long companion, LaTarsha Washington; one son, Keith Jerome McClary, Jr.; two children he reared as his own, Kyree R. McKnight and Jasmine M. Lara (Guillermo); two grandchildren, Ariyanna Lara and Tyreece Sabb; two brothers, Marion McClary, Jr. (Floretha) and Jimmy McClary, both of Kingstree, SC; three sisters, Emmalene Dukes Nickles (Berrins) and Julia Dukes Green (Jeffrey), both of Florida City, FL and Loleta Dukes of Guin, AL; four additional brothers, Johnny Dukes (Lynda) and Harry L. Dukes, both of Florida City, FL, Harry Dukes (Sonya) of Hinesville, GA and Cardell Dukes of Kingsport, TN; seven cousins reared as siblings, Linda B. Tisdale, Mary Lee Tisdale (Wayne), Sammie Tisdale (Felicia), James Lewis Tisdale (Cutina), Sylvester Tisdale, Lillie Cooper, and John Tisdale (Suanetta), all of Kingstree, SC; four aunts, Delores McClary, Elizabeth McKnight, Nancy McClary, and Marilyn Gateling (Wayne), all of Kingstree, SC; one uncle, Clarence Dukes of Greeleyville, SC; a close friend, Christopher Scott, of Kingstree, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends and family at 17 Salvation Ave., Kingstree, SC.
