On Sunday, October 11, 2026, our Heavenly Father called his beautiful angel, Katie Miller home. She entered into eternal rest at Lake Marion Health and Rehab of Summerton, South Carolina. Katie was born on April 29, 1952.

Katie attended Darlington County Public Schools. She also attended Florence County Disability and Special Needs Board of Lake City, SC for many years up until December 13, 2019. She was then moved to Lake Marion Health and Rehab.

Loving memories will be cherished by: two sons and her close friends that were like family. We remember Katie as a special person whose kindness, friendship and caring heart touched the lives of many. She was surrounded by all who loved her and became family to her. Katie had a playful spirit and her jokey words often made her friends laugh. She had a way of turning an ordinary moment into something light and memorable. Katie was never afraid to speak her mind. She was honest, strong and always willing to stand up for those she loved. Her love was protective and steady. She always stood by the people she loved. Katie will always be remembered. Everyone will carry her memories in our hearts and cherish the times we had with her. Katie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
