Obituary

We, the family of Julious Singletary, Jr., bow in humble submission to the will of God, rejoicing that his life was well spent in preparing for his journey home.

On Sunday night, December 14, 2025 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC, God summoned the soul of His servant Julious Singletary, Jr.

Julious Singletary, Jr., the son of the late Mr. Julious Singletary, Sr. and Mrs. Sallie Dickers Singletary, was born May 18, 1952 in Florence County, South Carolina. He received his formal education in the public schools of Florence County.

Julious accepted Christ in his life as his personal Savior. For a number of years, he worked on the farm with family until he became employed with various trucking companies, until he opened his own for over 50 plus years.

Life Reflections

He leaves to cherish: his wife, Mrs. Ramona Singletary of Lexington, SC; five sons, Jacob (Yolanda) Singletary, Jerimiah Singletary and Julian Singletary all of Florida and South Carolina and Christopher (Kelly) Singletary of Debuque, Iowa; stepson, Quentin Gilmore; four daughters, Darlene Amg (Laner) and Angela Singletary (Earl) both of Florida and Jasmine Singletary of Columbia, SC; sisters, Betty Frieson of Florence, SC, Delaphine (William) Graham, Wanda (Isiah) Burgess and Judy Graham all of Lake City, SC and Brenda Singletary of Scranton, SC; brothers, Abraham Singletary of Coward, SC, Melvin Lee (Linda) Singletary of Columbia, SC and Jerry Singletary of Hemingway, SC; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by: a son, Joshua Singletary; a daughter, Keronica Singletary Burden of Florida, a sister, Doretha Singletary of Scranton, SC.
