Joyce Ann Jones Cousar was born September 22, 1949, in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Pearlie Mae and William Leroy Jones.

Joyce Ann graduated from Tomlinson High School and Morris College.

She worked at and retired from South Carolina Job Service.

She loved reading, gardening and spending time with her family.

Joyce was married to the late Arthur Lee Cousar.

On Monday, June 3, 2024 she entered into eternal rest at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories: her children, George (Rosie) Cousar of Ellington, FL, Corey Cousar and Heather (Christopher) Frazier both of Kingstree, SC; five grandchildren, Zuri Frazier, Eliza Cousar, Mariah Cousar, Sophia Cousar and Ashanta Mays; her siblings, William Sylvester (Shirley) Jones of Kingstree, SC, Etha Mae Cobb of Hemingway, SC, Eliza (David) Scott of Kingstree, SC; one aunt, Betty Brown of Kingstree, SC; a special nephew, Derrick Q. Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
