On Tuesday, June 3, 2024, Joseph Darby's name was called by God.

Joseph Darby was born on September 6, 1963 in Washington, DC to the late Louise McKnight Darby and the late Bruce Darby of Andrews, South Carolina.

Joseph met the love of his life, his fiancée Sharon Williams in 2020.

Throughout his life Joseph did various chef jobs in Washington, DC and South Carolina.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his fiancée, Sharon Williams of Florence, SC; one sister, Susan Darby of Florence, SC; five brothers, Jacob Darby of Florence, SC, Edgar Darby (Susan), Terry Darby, Larry Darby, and David Darby all of Washington, DC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
