Joseph Alexander McGee, son of Julia McGee and Willie James Woods, Sr., was born on November 20, 1992 in Florence, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Joseph received his formal education in the Williamsburg County School System in Kingstree, SC.

Joseph loved race cars, coloring books and "Beyonce".

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandfather, Deacon Roosevelt Woods; paternal aunts, Barbara Jane Woods; brothers, Cornelius "Peanut" Woods, Jermaine Meyers and Sisrow McGee; maternal grandparents, Lucius McGee and Mary Nelson McGee, maternal great grandmother, Perneatha Chandler Shaw.

Joseph is survived by: his mother, Julia McGee of Kingstree, SC; father, Willie (Laura) Woods, Sr. of Kingstree, SC; brother, James (Danielle) McGee of Andrews, SC, Marshall Stephens (Stephanie) of New Jersey, Willie (Jamie) Woods, Jr. of Rochester, NY, Aaron (Rayvin) Woods of Alpharetta, GA, Ashawn Woods of Kingstree, SC,  James A. Dywer of Sumter, SC and George McGee of Kingstree, SC; sisters, Anesha Footman, Jennifer (Jerome) Gailliard, Willette Durant and Aariana Woods all of Kingstree, SC and Regina Mederos of Sumter, SC; maternal grandmother, Julia  Shaw McGee of Kingstree, SC; paternal grandmother, Magalene Woods of Kingstree, SC; paternal aunts, Jannie (Sam) Singleton of Greeleyville, SC, Pastor Mary McClam (Akili), Peggy Woods, Sadie Woods and Laura (Adrien) Moseley all of Kingstree, SC and Rose (Johnny) Wilson of Sutton, SC; paternal grandaunt, Gwendolyn Tisdale of Kingstree, SC; paternal uncles, Elder Tommy (Bobbie) Woods, and Henry (Zenovia) Woods both of Kingstree, SC and Jerry (Felicia) Woods of Myrtle Beach, SC; cousins, Fleetina Tisdale of Cary, NC, Shallina (Kenneth) Hudson of Raleigh, NC, Kenneth (Jean) Tisdale  of Columbia, SC, and Yolanda (Rev.
