With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Mr. Jerry Robinson, 66, of Germany and formerly of Greeleyville, SC, husband of Angela Robinson who passed away on Friday June 21, 2024.

Life Reflections

Jerry Laverne Robinson, Sr, was born May 28, 1958, in Greeleyville, South Carolina to the late Lee and Mamie Robinson. He departed this life on June 21, 2024, at his home in Karlstein, Germany.

He graduated from C.E. Murray High School Class of 1976. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country for 24 years. After retiring, he remained in Germany.

During his enlistment, Jerry met and married Rita Robinson. To this union two children were born. He later met and married his current wife, Angie Robinson. With this union, he raised one daughter as his own.

Loved ones left to cherish his memories: his wife, Angie Robinson; two daughters, Daniella Robinson and Nadine Robinson; one son, Jerry Robinson, Jr.; one grandson, Jason Robinson all of Germany; four sisters, Patricia (Frank) Bethea of Kingstree, SC, Letha (Samuel) Gray of Salters, SC, Rose Nell (Kenneth) Redden of Columbia and Carolyn Gettys of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Roy Robinson of Salters, SC, Eddie Robinson of Kingstree, SC and James (Heather) Robinson of Newport Richie, FL; aunts, Lou Alma (Abraham) Henryhand, Julia Bell Robinson and Annie Ree Starks all of Greeleyville, SC, Azalee Washington, Estelle Douglas and Beverly Greer all of Charleston, SC; two uncles, Mack Robinson and Abraham McFadden both of Greeleyville, SC; a special cousin like a mother, Apostle Mary Scott-Nelson and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
