Life Reflections
Jannie Mae Tisdale was born on May 24, 1925, in Salters, South Carolina, to the late Ella Louise Jones and Clarence "C.J." Jones. She was educated in the public schools of Williamsburg County in Kingstree, South Carolina.
At an early age, Jannie accepted Christ and became a faithful member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, which later became St. Luke Fellowship Church. She lovingly served as the Mother of the Church at St. Luke Fellowship Church, where she was cherished and respected by generations of members.
In 1945, Jannie was united in Holy Matrimony to Clyde Tisdale. Together, they shared a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Her life was characterized by strength, perseverance, humility, and a genuine love for others. In 1965, Jannie relocated to Stanford, Connecticut, where she continued to build her life and make lasting memories. After many years away, she returned home to South Carolina in 1993, where she remained until her passing.

As the Mother of the Church, she held a special place in the hearts of many and leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness, kindness, and devotion.
