Andrews
With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Isabel Jackson, 83, of Andrews, SC, who passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
Life Reflections
Mother Isabel Jackson was born on June 30, 1942 to the late Reather Jackson and Willie Lewis. On Sunday, October 12, 2025, she was called home to be with the Lord. Isabel attended St. Mark School in the Bloomingvale Community and graduated May 27, 1963, shortly after she moved to Rochester, New York. Isabel met the love of her life, William Lee Moore, and they became the parents of one child, Teresa. Isabel attended trade school and was successfully employed at Bausch & Lomb, Ray Band, and Eastmark Kodak Company for over thirty years, where she retired from.
Mother Isabel loved the Lord and sought him diligently and became a member at Evangelistic Temple Way of the Cross Church, her pastor was Bishop Roosevelt Fulton. Just the other day First Lady Maggie Fulton said, "Mother Jackson was not just a member, we had a relationship". Isabel loved to cook and keep her house clean as well as taking care of children as she helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She did not get tired of her work, this inspired her to become a SC State License Foster Parent, opening her home to foster children from various parts of the world. Lastly, believe it or not Mother Jackson loved basketball and would watch the game on television. Her favorite team was the Chicago Bulls. Mom said she wanted to shoot some hoops. Turning this page, Mother Jackson had some bumps in the road, but she beat Breast Cancer and kept fighting it, but this last final fight Mother Jackson became ill, she got tired, and gently let go.
Mother Isabel leaves behind to cherish her loving memories: one daughter, Teresa; five grandchildren, Alexis Jackson Green, Gary Green of Conway, SC, Amber Jackson of Lake City, SC, April Jackson of Conway, SC and Jacob Jackson of Denver, CO; five great-grandchildren, Zay, Twona, Will, Cara and Aria; a special brother, Harvey Lewis of South Carolina; two special sisters, Eula Mae Lewis Pressley and Lillie Ruth Lewis Hayward both of South Carolina; an special aunt, Martha Jackson Mack; special goddaughter, Zora Walker; two special cousins, Annabel Smith and Dorothy Jean Porter; along with a host of beloved siblings as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Andrews, SC. 843-354-2292.
