Ida Mae Robinson Keels left this life on Thursday, December 24, 2025. God saw that she was tired and called her from her earthly labor to her heavenly home to be at rest.
Ida Mae Robinson Keels was the daughter of the late Mary Wilson Robinson and the late Willie Allison Robinson. She was born in Manning, South Carolina on October 9, 1932, and was raised in Williamsburg County. She had eight siblings; four brothers and four sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.

She loved God and became a member and one of the founders of North Kingstree Baptist Church where she served as President of the Senior Choir, Member of the Missionary Society, and Chairperson of the Church Anniversary Committee.
She loved to sing and co-founded the Christian Sisters with her sister-in-law, Eather Lee York.
She attended the public schools of Williamsburg County and furthered her education at Williamsburg Technical College receiving a Certified Nursing Assistant Degree. She was employed at Kelly Nursing Home Facility, Williamsburg Regional Hospital, and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Home Health Services. She was a committed community servant with over 40 years of service in the medical field. Nursing was her passion. She loved people and went above and beyond to help others.
