Obituary

With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Henry Daniels, 66, formerly of Johnsonville, SC, who passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Life Journey

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

Matthew 5:4

Earthly Arrival: September 29, 1959 ~ Heavenly Departure: March 23, 2026

Mr. Henry Daniels was the son of the late Jacob Daniels of Lake City, South Carolina and Annie Ruth Ervin Daniels of Marlboro, South Carolina better known as Bennettsville, South Carolina. Henry was raised in Lake City, South Carolina.

In 1965, Henry started Elementary School and completed High School in 1972. He grew a love for box art because he loved to draw, and he loved fine arts. What you could not see the beauty in the art, he could see. What you may think was silly, Henry could see the beauty in it all. Henry also had a love for music. He loved to play his eight string guitar or a six string guitar. Henry always had a love for Bob Marley music.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and Jack Daniels, as well as a host of other relatives.

Henry leaves to cherish his loving memories: his daughter, Fade Lewis of Johnsonville, SC; five grandchildren, Romeo, Neomiieo, Rommieo, Felisha and Lamont all of Johnsonville, SC; three sisters, Betty Daniels (Joe) Peterson of Johnsonville, SC, Ruby Jenkins of Jonesboro, GA and Margie Ann Daniels of Conyers, GA; his sister-in-law, Sadie Daniels; five special nieces and nephews, James (Kim) Daniels of Douglasville, GA, Salondra (Anthony) Daniels-Griggs, Wanda Daniels (Chad) Moore of NJ and Sierra Daniels (Lorenzo) Peterson-Jackson of Florence, SC; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of Lake City, SC. 843-354-2292.
