With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Eva Brown, 90, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of McClellanville, SC, who passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Life Reflections

On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, our Heavenly Father stepped into His garden and kindly picked Eva up and took her home.

Eva was born on September 14, 1934 in Santee, South Carolina, to the late Jerry Brown and Julia Brown.  She attended school in McClellanville, South Carolina.  She later moved to Brooklyn, New York. Eva worked various jobs in the garment factory making women's clothing. She enjoyed cooking for her family.

Eva was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Eva was blessed with four children whom she leaves to cherish her memories: Cynthia, Timothy (Audrey), Deborah and Cornell; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; five brothers, Charlie, Eli, Abe (Edith), James (Renee) and Randy (Denise); along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
