Edwin Jerome Cooper was born on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in Manning, SC, to Rhadija Brown and Edward Cooper. Edwin was respectable, intelligent and was a loving teenager who enjoyed basketball, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Edwin was a student at Kingstree High School and he will be greatly missed by family, friends, and classmates.

Edwin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sytyrah Brown and Wilbur Brittle; his paternal grandfather, Edward J. Cooper.

Although short lived, Edwin leaves to cherish his precious memories: his mother, Rhadija Brown of Kingstree, SC; his father, Edward Cooper of Blythewood, SC; his twin brother, Edward J. Cooper of Kingstree, SC; two sisters, Ladaesia A. Cooper of Kingstree, SC and Ashaunti A. Cooper of Spartanburg, SC; a paternal grandmother, Joyce (Peter) Graham of Florence, SC; two aunts, Shanika (Randel) Gavin of Orangeburg, SC and Robin Cooper of Columbia, SC; three maternal uncles, Tyrone Brown, Desmond Brown and Corey Brown all of Kingstree, SC; a loving paternal great-grand aunt, Margaret Pendergrass of Kingstree, SC; one paternal uncle, Shawn (Malana) Archie of Florence, SC; a loving maternal grand uncle, Johnnie Lee Brown of Kingstree, SC; godsister, Shantell Davis; along with an abundance of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
