With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Denise Brown, 63, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Life Reflections

Denise Brown, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend was born on April 21, 1969, in Williamsburg County, South Carolina to Mildred Brown and the late Ronald Brown,  Sr. She departed this earthly life, into eternal rest on May 18, 2026.

Denise was raised and attended school in Hackensack, New Jersey. She was an awesome basketball player and she loved sports. She was very generous and would give the shirt off her back to help any and everybody. Denise would joke from the time she entered the room until the last second of her leaving the room. She would make you laugh until you couldn't laugh anymore.

Denise was always the life of the party. Most of all, Denise was a family woman, who loved to spend to time with family, friends, and all her grandchildren.

Denise was a jack of all trades. She could do anything that she set her mind to.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annette Brown, who she now joins in eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Mildred Brown; two children, Jerode (Chavitha) Brown and Elise (Tyrell) White; her brother, Ronald Brown Jr.

Her legacy continues through: her eleven grandchildren, Jarode Brown Jr., Liam Brown, Summer Coleman, Emiya Manigault, Jasmyne Brown, Tyrell White (TJ), Ronald White, Logan White, Christian White, Jazariah and Cara Williams. She also leaves to cherish her memories: Jacob Brown, Tyshawn Brown and Jamari Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Denise will be remembered for the outpouring of kindness, humor, and unwavering love she left imprinted on all our lives.

The family is receiving friends and family at 2860 I.M. Graham Road, Lake City, SC 29560.
