With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Debra Morris, 58, wife of Michael Morris, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Life Reflections

Debra Franklin Morris, daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Franklin, was born October 29, 1967. She entered into eternal rest on her birthday, October 29, 2025.

Debra received her formal education at Kingstree High School. Her work included environmental services in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Debra was the youngest of fifteen children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded her in death by ten of her siblings.

Debra's work history included home health care and domestic work. She enjoyed dancing and singing.

On August 8, 2022, Debra was joined in Holy Matrimony to Michael Morris.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her loving husband, Michael Morris of the home; two stepdaughters, Octavia Morris of Lake City, SC and Michelle Morris of Olanta, SC; her siblings, Virginia Franklin and Daniel Franklin both of Kingstree, SC, Samuel Lee Franklin of Gainesville, FL and Steven Franklin of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces that she helped raise as her own, Angela Burgess, Lawanda, Melanie, Elizabeth, Mya Elmore and Tyashia Franklin; mother-in-law, Mary M. Holland; sisters-in-law, Andrea K. Morris of New Jersey, Tracey (Evan) Gibsons of Georgia and Lorraine Holmes of Kingstree, SC; brothers-in-law, Ervin Morris of New Jersey, Sammie (Tameka) Chandler and Demetrius (Deandra) Chandler both of Kingstree, SC; special nephews, Chris Franklin of Lake City, SC and Ray Franklin of Columbia, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and  friends.

The family is accepting friends and family at 1092 Red Road, Kingstree, SC.
