Clyde was well loved by his family and friends. He moved to Florence, South Carolina in 2019 to live with his brother John (Ren'e) Spate. Clyde would ride his moped scooter everywhere and he kept it clean as a whistle. Clyde was always willing to help others. Clyde had a love for Kentucky Fried Chicken. He worked as a farmer for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister, Deloris Carter of Kingstree, SC; one brother, John (Ren'e) Spate of the home Florence, SC; three nieces, Tammy, Melissa and Nakyah; seven nephews, Charlie, Nathaniel, John, Maurice, Bobby, Joshua and EJ; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
