"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31
Christiann Grace Michelle Brock–Moses, the daughter of the late Pastor Dennis Clifford Brock and Carrie Curry Brock, was born on October 11, 1983 at 6:30am in Florence, South Carolina. She left this earth to be with her father and Jesus in Heaven on Saturday morning November 15, 2025 at 2:20am.
Christiann was affectionately called Christy by her mother, Missie Ann by her brother, Peaches by her babysitter, and Chrissy by others who couldn't pronounce her name. She was an honor graduate of Kingstree Senior High School, Kingstree SC, Class of 2001. She continued her quest for higher education graduating with honors from Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina in 2005, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Education. She enjoyed college life at Furman, playing on the Furman Paladins Band and serving in many clubs and organizations, such as Student League for Black Culture. After matriculation at Furman University she later joined the Greenville South Carolina Graduate Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
Christiann also received a Master of Science in Health Administration from Webster University, Webster Groves Missouri. She was enrolled in the Doctoral Program at Webster University pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Science specializing in Epidemiology until her health failed.
Christy joined the Union Freewill Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. She also continued her spiritual growth at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, in Alcolu, South Carolina under the leadership of the late Pastor Dennis C. Brock.

There she and her colleagues specialized in creating and presenting workshops for the public focusing on STD/HIV prevention, testing, and treatment among other tasks and work assignments.
In 2013, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Sandino Moses. To this union God blessed them with the beautiful Savannah Carinae Madelyn Moses on April 29, 2014. She was proud to be a mother and focused on raising her daughter in a Godly household. Her mantra was "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
