With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Charles Leslie Myers, 62, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Life Reflections

Charles Leslie Myers, was born as a result of the union of Willie G. Myers, Sr. and Herlene Myers. Charles was born at Benevolent Memorial Hospital in Kingstree, South Carolina on September 15, 1962.

Charles grew up in Kingstree, South Carolin and was a member of the Class of 1980. After high school, Charles moved to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where he lived in both Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Charles worked as a professional auto detailer for almost a decade, from 1990 to 1997. Charles, also worked in retail at Federal Central Stores in Washington, D.C. during the early 2000's. Charles then, moved back to Kingstree, to act as a caregiver for our elderly father.

Charles was married to Audrey Brown Myers, his partner for life, until her untimely passing. After the passing of Audrey and our father, Charles migrated to Florence, SC. He then retired, due to health concerns and continued to sustain himself, while being a disabled individual.

Charles lived in Florence, SC from 2020 to 2026. He suddenly became ill on May 1, 2026. He was admitted in McLeod Hospital, Florence, SC and transitioned on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Charles was a huge Baltimore Ravens fan as well as a lover of classic soul and R&B music.

Charles was also a member of Old Mount Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, and worked as an usher there as well. He loved the church and the relationship. It helped him establish and sustain with God.

Loved ones left to cherish his fond memories: his siblings, Willie B. Myers, Karlton D. Myers and Regina L. Myers; along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
