With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Carutha Rembert, 84, of Pineville, SC, who passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Life Reflections

Carutha Rembert, the daughter of the late Henry Tillman Rembert and Susan Judge Rembert, was born on March 19, 1939, in Pineville, South Carolina.  God dispatched his heavenly angels on Sunday, June 9, 2024, to bring His angel home to take her rest.

Carutha was a graduate of Russellville High School and furthered her education in New York where she obtained her practical nursing certification. She was employed as a nurse at Kings County Hospital until she retired and relocated back to Pineville, SC with her son Michael.

Carutha loved to travel and go shopping.

Carutha accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age and joined Redeemer R. E. Church.  She attended church in New York and upon moving home, rejoined her home church, Redeemer R. E. Church.

Carutha was the beloved mother of one child, Micheal Rembert who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings except Alma Rembert.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one granddaughter, Maria Rembert; her dear sister, Alma Rembert; three sisters-in-laws, Willie Mae Rembert, Madeline Rembert and Corine Rembert; her dedicated and tireless caregivers, Alma, Debra Jenkins, and Ronald Rembert; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Henryhand Funeral Home of St. Stephen, SC. 843-354-2292.
