Life Reflections
Calvin Herman Redden was born on August 24,1957 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Eugene and Carrie Brogdon Redden. On Wednesday evening, January 15, 2025, Calvin boarded the train bound for glory where there's no more suffering and pain.

Calvin worked at Black River Hardwood Company as truck driver and a fireman from 1976-2012 when he was injured.
His hobbies were fishing, hunting and especially gardening. Calvin also liked going to the store and talking to the guys.
Calvin leaves to cherish his fond memories; one son, Calvin Eugene Redden Jr. of Florence SC; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Alston of Charleston, SC and Ms. Barbara Redden Hammond of Kingstree, SC; two nieces, Carmen Renee (Todd) Alexander and Thomasenia A. Redden (who was raised like a sister) of Kingstree, SC; three nephews, Terrance Chris Kinnard of Charlotte, NC, Trae Kinnard of Kingstree, SC and Thomas Kinnard of Indianapolis, IN; a longtime friend/like brother, George Rich of Charlotte, NC; and friend, Randy Cuttino; and other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to everyone that helped Calvin and looked out for him when he wasn't feeling his best. For those that did the walking for him, we, the family, thank you.
