Bridgette Ladaisha
Burgess
Feb 14, 1995 — Oct 1, 2025
Florence
With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Bridgette Ladaisha Burgess, 30, of Florence, SC, who passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Life Reflections
Bridgette Ladaisha Burgess was born on February 14, 1995, along with her twin sister. Bridgette and her twin sister stayed in the hospital for two years, weighing one pound at birth and her sister weighing eight ounces. Bridgette, along with her twin sister and her mom, lived at McLeod Hospital for two years. Bridgette came home from the hospital in July of 1997. The doctors told her mom the twins Bridgette and Brittney would not make it overnight, but God allowed Bridgette to be with her for thirty wonderful years.
Bridgette overcame a lot of challenges. At five years old, Bridgette was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Bridgette never let her disability stop her from praising God. Bridgette attended and graduated from West Florence High School. Bridgette was on WBTW News and she was also featured on the front cover of the Florence Morning News.
Bridgette attended Active Day Care Center, where she enjoyed spending her time with friends during the day. Bridgette met the "love of her life" Dykeim Ingram at Active Days. She brought joy and brighten up a room everywhere she went. She was loved by so many people. At the center, she was known by "Doll baby". She was a doll baby indeed.
Bridgette leaves behind to cherish her precious memories: her mother, Monica Fulmore of Florence, SC; her father, Ron Burgess of Cades, SC; two sisters, her twin Brittney Burgess of Florence, SC and Zaria Fulmore of Florence, SC; her brother, Brandon Burgess of Greenville, SC; her grandmother, Buelah Burgess of Cades, SC; nine aunts, Karen Epps of Lake City, SC, Miranda Cook of Gastonia, NC, TeAngela Brown of Winston Salem, NC, TeKeyla Brown of Winston Salem, NC, Jeanette McFadden, Gwen Goodman, Jackie Burgess, Yolanda Epps and Monica Moses; three uncles, Micheal McFadden, Chuckie Burgess and Clifford Epps; one nephew, Kyheir Kedden Burgess; two god mothers, Sabrina Scott and Marie Rosenbaum; her spiritual Mom and Dad, Bishop Billy and Elect Lady Tammy Scott; her dear friends, Hanna Johanes and Darlene Washington; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to my sisters and brother, who helped my mom care for me. Special thanks to my Dad and my Grandmother Buelah Burgess. To my first nephew, Kyheir Kedden Burgess, I LOVE YOU. I would also like to thank all of my hairdressers who kept me looking beautiful, Mrs. Lil, Yolanda Ripley Foxworth, Capitola Vaughn Sylvia Wormsley, and Nicole Darby. To my Mom, Evangelist Monica Fulmore, who took care of me until the end. I LOVE YOU MOM.
The family is receiving friends and family at 525 Woodland Drive Apt 5B, Florence, SC.
