Avon Fulton was born on March 14, 1960, in Kingstree, South Carolina to the late Theadore and Alberta Fulton.

On Monday, December 9, 2024, Avon was called home to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Theadore and Alberta Fulton, her father and mother-in-law, Alton and Lizzie Clee Fulton and several of her aunts and uncles.

Avon received her formal education at Kingstree Senior High School, Class of 1978. She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Kingstree, South Carolina.

Avon worked in the hospitality field for several years until she ventured out into the healthcare field where she was currently employed at Ashe Court Home Healthcare of Kingstree, South Carolina.

Avon affectionately known as "Von", was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend. Avon was well known for keeping the laughs and joyous vibes going.

Avon leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Quintez Fulton of Loris, SC and Larry Fulton of Asheboro, NC; two brothers, Theadore Fulton (Thelma Phillips) of Florence, SC and Theotis (Betty) Fulton of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Tamieka (Sam) Fulton-Chandler of Kingstree, SC; four sisters-in-law, Doris (Anderson) Chandler, Alberta Fulton both of Kingstree, SC, Dallie Mae (Lavern) Darby and Martha (Rev. Eddie) Gamble of Salters, SC; three aunts, Deloris Franklin, Onetta McCrea both of Kingstree, SC and Sara Fulton of Albertson, NC; two uncles, Cicero McCrea and Robert Pressley both of Kingstree, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a very special friend, Mary Goodman of Greenville, SC.
