Jan 20, 1979 — Apr 11, 2026
Kingstree
With deepest sorrow we at Henryhand Funeral Home regret to announce the passing of Antoine McCrea, 47, of Kingstree, SC, who passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Life Reflections
Antoine McCrea, the eldest son of Elaine McCrea and Fred McCrea, was born on January 20, 1979, in Durham, North Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 11, 2026. He is survived by his parents, who will forever cherish his memory.
Antoine was a devoted and loving father to his children: Yasmine Rose of Darlington, SC, Kiandra McCrea of Charlotte, NC, Monisha McCrea of Kingstree, SC, Jazmine McCrea of Kingstree, and Antoine McCrea, Jr. of Kingstree, SC. He was also a proud grandfather to Kyson Hanna and Kayce Hanna, the beloved children of his daughter, Yasmine Rose.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Shawandia Page of Kingstree, SC; his parents, Elaine and Fred McCrea; his brothers, Fredrick McCrea (Crystal) of Columbia, SC and Brian McCrea of Laurens, SC; his children and grandchildren; aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Antoine was raised in Nesmith, South Carolina where he was loved in a close-knit community. He attended Battery Park Elementary School and Hemingway High School and later made his home in Kingstree, South Carolina.
He was known for his wide, radiant smile, just like a true Nesmith. He found joy in cooking for other and took pride in sharing meals with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling the open roads, finding peace in both the countryside and the city.
Antoine began working faithfully alongside his father and brothers in the family business, Slim and Sons Rebar, where he became a skilled steelworker and construction professional.
Though he faced health challenges, he remained strong in spirit. Now, he rests in the peace of the Lord.
"The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace." - Psalm 29:11
