Annie Merletha "Merl" Hannah, answered God's call on January 1, 2026. Merl was born on January 1, 1954 to Cora Lee Wilson and the late Lewis Gaston. She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Price and Evelyn Robinson; sisters, Gloria Ann Singletary and Marilyn Gaston; brothers, Larry Gaston and John Lewis.

Merl graduated from Carver High School in 1971. She had numerous professions with her final being the General Manager of Hardee's in Lake City, SC. She enjoyed cooking, painting, sewing and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Merl attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church of Lake City, SC.

Merl is survived by: her loving companion, Robert Lee Williams of Lake City, SC; two sons, Ernest Tyrone Hannah and Kelvin Hannah (Tiffany) both of Lake City, SC; a daughter, Rosalyn Hannah (Derrick) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Brittni Cooper, Kelvon Hannah, Taylor Duncan, Jordyn Brown and Madison Hannah; mother, Cora Lee Wilson; a sister, Ernestine Henderson; numerous aunts, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A very dear friend, Samantha Edwards.
