On Wednesday evening, May 16, 2012, the Angel of Peace summoned Sister Frances Marie Parson from this world of sorrow and pain to a place of eternal rest.
Mrs. Frances Marie Parson, the daughter of Mrs. Susan Lee Barr and the late Mr. Thadis Barr, was born on October 9, 1966, in Kingstree, South Carolina.

Mrs. Frances Parson was life-long member of Midway Baptist Church where she served faithfully even as her health failed. She was an avid Bible student and attended study sessions not only at Midway but also at Sandridge Holiness Church.

Mrs. Frances Parson received her formal education in the public schools of Williamsburg County. She was employed by Hardee’s of South Carolina as a manager for many years.

Mrs. Frances Parson was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Sylvester Parson. To this union three children were born. Mrs. Frances Parson was affectionately known as “Lisa” by her family and friends. She was a special and unique person who gave liberally of herself to others. She was a master at crocheting. Many of the items she made were donated to those in need.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Thadis Barr and a brother, Mr. Thadis L. Barr, Jr.
