Life Legacy

Ms. Yolanda Marie McClary, daughter of Mrs. Shirley McClary Franklin and the late Robert McClary, was born on July 23, 1973 in Manning, South Carolina. She departed her earthly life on Monday, September 19, 2011.
At an early age, Yolanda accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Leonard Chapel A.M.E. Church, Greeleyville, South Carolina.
Yolanda was a 1992 graduate of Manning High School earning her high school diploma. She furthered her education by obtaining School Age Credentials on May 16, 2011 and an Associates Degree in Early Care and Education in August of 2011, from Central Carolina Technical College. While in college Yolanda was awarded the Dean’s List Award in May of 2011.
Yolanda was a diligent worker. She was employed with Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church Christian and Academic School, as a Childcare Teacher. She was also employed with Willoglen Academy.
Loved ones left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Ambroshia McClary, Quatib McClary, Nashika McClary, Napolean Shaw, Jeremiah Shaw, and Kynande McClary all of the home, Sumter, SC; her mother, Shirley McClary Franklin (Tommy) of Kingstree, SC; one brother, Robert Charles McClary of Kingstree, SC; maternal aunt, Virginia Brunson of Greeleyville, SC; maternal uncle, William Allen of Greeleyville, SC; maternal great aunt, Celey Mae Joe of Greeleyville, SC; paternal aunt, Georgianna (Joe Lewis) Benbow; paternal uncles, Isaac Lee McClary, David Greene of Lake City, SC and Willie Greene of Columbia, SC; two godchildren, Tajn’ Unique D’Nya McDonald, Ja’Kyila Um’Unique Johnson; three special people she called sisters, Cassandra Shaw, Stacy Shaw, and Veronica McFadden all of Kingstree, SC; special friends, Amelia McClam, Tajh McDonald, Datrick Rose, Kason Bethea, and the Butler Family; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
